General principles Al-Azraq square project includes numeric infrastructure which are mutualized. The same system will help to regulate energy, space sharing / occupancy and will be useful to implant services. The concierge will become a community manager in order to preserve a human link between users and digital technologies. The objective is to multiply local synergies and city intelligences (sensitive, rational, imaginative and social) in order to provide a shared and productive building.

Social activity base

Covered active plaza : topography and water surfaces create an inside landscape that invites to sit down. It helps the partition of spaces and the regulation of sound and temperature.

Play with the weather (diversity of atmospheres, micro-climate according to uses / practices, changing through seasons, etc)

Our approach is not to create an ideal and uniform climate but to generate diversity by exacerbating micro-climates properties in order to produce wide ranges of atmospheres.

The gardens

A quiet and green oasis grows in the inside block. Stagged garden allows light entrance inside the base volume. Around and on the roof, a variety of small gardens produce various atmospheres.

The upper building

The building is characterized by :
- continuous programs distributed by stripes more than by levels
- shared spaces : The shared spaces are adaptable according to needs. There are flexible, by their size and also by space typology, which offers an infinity of combinations.
- hollow and rifts : Architectural events that produce singularities
