This project constitutes a continuous experiment around subtle architecture as an instrument of environments. It also serves as a demonstration of the psychological, ecological and economic efficiency of a designed environment.
Architecture optimizes the available surface and multiplies the possible uses of a place, particularly through volume. It invites movement: the best working position lies in the regular change of positions and postures.
The studio pursues different explorations: atmospheres, traces, light, reflection, projection, diffraction (appearance of rainbows), materials, colors, wind & ventilation, temperature, indoor vegetation, flexibility, frugality, acoustics, appropriation, transformability, randomness, rhythms, synergies of use, superimposition of images, habitability, body positioning within space as well as individual and relational perspectives.
The workspace develops within volume, notably through Relief Furniture EnVol concept. It plays with environments to generate new environments and regularly surprises its users.
This ar(t)chitecture revisits, presents and continues some of the research and experiments developed within the Inhabited Landscape of Saint-Quentin.
Architecture is an instrument of environments.
